Allen Iverson is one of the quickest and most explosive players to ever play the game. He thrives on attacking the basket and is not afraid of any contact. As a kid, his mom had to force him to play basketball because lil' Allen thought it was too wimpy and prefered to play football instead.

He is one of the league leaders in free throws made and attempted. His style of play has drawn a lot of comparisons to that of Kevin Johnson since both AI and KJ are small men who aren't afraid to bang inside.

With his 44 inch verticle and vine-like arms, Iverson can definetely play above the rim. When he's in the air, he usually does an acrobatic layup to keep the ball away from the defender, but once in a while he'll throw down a monstrous dunk. His put-back over Marcus Camby last year during the 1999-00 season was hailed as the dunk of the year. Iverson is surely one of the best finishers in the NBA.
